The water vapor tight zipper was officially launched in October 2012. It is a new high-end product applied in the high-tech field. It is composed of independent pulls that mesh the inner teeth of two adhesive tapes together. The elastic tape is compressed by the outer teeth and tightly joined, forming a completely airtight state. On the basis of maintaining the softness and operability of the previous zipper, it isolates external liquids, air, gases, water vapor, dust, and light. 8 # Metal water vapor tight zipper is one of the varieties of water vapor tight zippers.

【 Installation and usage precautions 】

Zipper should be installed after the product is cut, and the two chain straps must be kept straight during installation

When installing the zipper, glue should not be applied to the zipper teeth, otherwise it may damage the zipper's airtightness or cause damage to the zipper due to pulling obstruction. If the glue accidentally sticks to the chain teeth, you can use a soft cloth dipped in glue thinner to gently wipe it clean.

Before opening and closing the zipper, please use clean water or a brush to remove any dust or mud adhering to the inside and outside of the zipper teeth. Attachments may affect the airtightness of the zipper and even damage it.

When opening and closing the zipper, make sure to pull the slider along the direction of the zipper teeth. When pulled diagonally, it can cause poor meshing of the chain teeth, reduce the airtightness of the zipper, and even damage the zipper.

The opening and closing speed of the zipper should be controlled within 10-15 meters per minute. Do not repeatedly open and close the zipper for a long time to avoid causing the zipper to become stiff or damaged due to thermal conductivity.

When the fabric of the clothing is stuck in the zipper, the zipper should be pulled back slightly in the opposite direction, and the zipper should be slowly pulled up after removing the stuck object. Do not forcefully pull it, otherwise it will damage the zipper teeth.

When installing a zipper on the back or side of clothing, be sure to ask someone to assist in opening and closing the zipper.

After using the zipper, you should first use water or a brush to remove any sediment or other attachments on the outer teeth of the zipper before opening it.

Clean the inside of the zipper and try to avoid external contaminants from entering the inner teeth of the zipper, in order to prevent a decrease in water tightness or damage to the zipper.

After cleaning the zipper, apply a layer of lubricating wax on the outer teeth of the zipper and gently pull it back and forth twice.

Protect the zipper and ensure smooth next use, but the special wax can only be applied to the outer teeth and cannot be applied to the inner teeth, otherwise it may reduce its water tightness.

【 Storage precautions 】

Zipper inventory should be kept open and stored in a cool place.

Zippers that have been in stock for a long time should be stored in a closed box, away from strongly ventilated areas, to avoid oxidation and discoloration of the chain teeth.

After installation on the product, the zipper should be kept open and waxed in a cool place when not in use.

When packaging clothes with zippers installed, the clothes can be rolled up along the foot end and the zipper facing outward and placed into the packaging bag. When rolling, the zipper cannot be folded, and other heavy objects cannot be placed on the outer packaging.

When clothes do not have outer packaging, they can be hung open for storage. When hanging, the tension in the direction of the zipper teeth should be minimized as much as possible to prevent the zipper from extending and deforming.
